What is oakfield labor daze?

The Oakfield Betterment Committee is planning the 40th annual ‘Oakfield Labor Daze Music & Food Fest’ celebration in beautiful downtown Oakfield on August 31 - September 2, 2024. This celebration is a family-friendly music festival with many fun-filled, alcohol-free events. The focal point of the event is in Triangle Park, the heart of the village of Oakfield. Thousands of visitors from surrounding communities have attended this annual festival since its inception in 1983. The Oakfield Betterment Committee is dedicated to making sure that local events continue to be a tradition for our town. This year’s Labor Daze celebration will consist of a variety of live music, food vendors, children’s activities, community worship service, 5k race, car cruise, parade, fireworks show, and arts & crafts vendors. Non-profit groups from Oakfield and surrounding communities operate food and beverage stands, various games and other fundraisers. This celebration is an important fundraising opportunity for our local organizations.
