The Oakfield Betterment Committee is pleased to announce the creation of two monetary awards eligible for graduating seniors each year, beginning with the OA Class of 2024. The Oakfield-Alabama Volunteer Scholar Athlete Award(s).
Two $1,000 Awards will be given out annually. Criteria will be heavily based on volunteerism, but we will also look at academics, athletics and integrity.
Our annual Labor Daze 5k proceeds will be used to fund these awards. Our Labor Daze 5k takes place on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Sign-ups are live.
