The Oakfield Betterment Committee will be hosting its 2017 "Labor Day Festival" at the Elroy D. Parkins Town Park, 37 Drake Street, Oakfield, Monday, September 4th. This celebration is a family-oriented fes-tival with many fun-filled, alcohol-free events.

The Oakfield Betterment Committee is dedicated to making sure that our local event continues to be a tradition for our town. Due to the same difficulties facing other communities, we are scaling back to a one day event for 2017, but we will still have most of the features our attendees look forward to each year. The celebration consists of first-rate live entertainment, children’s activities, car cruise, parade, and food vendors.

Non-profit groups from Oakfield and surrounding areas are invited to operate food and beverage stands and various games other fundraisers at the event free of charge, making this celebration an important part of our local nonprofit organizations’ fundraising.

This is where you come in. The Basket Raffle will be our main fundraiser this year. Will you support us by donating a gift card, raffle item, or themed basket to enter in our raffle?

Without the generosity of people like you, this event would not be possible. Thank you in advance for your continuous support.

Baskets may be dropped off at 35 Drake Street (route 262), Oakfield. Please include business name / contact name / basket contents if applicable. If you would like to schedule a pickup or require additional information, please contact Melissa Watterson at 585-356-5940.
